SAFMARINE WAS recently named the winner of the Logistics, Shipping and Transport category in the 2007 ‘Best Company to Work For’ (BCTWF) survey. The company beat six other industry contenders to win the ‘employer of choice’ accolade in the survey which was launched by Deloitte in 2000. It allows employees to benchmark their companies on issues such as job satisfaction, leadership, management style, communication, relationships and trust, training and development, policies and procedures, diversity, change and transformation, rewards, recognition and performance management.
