THE STAFF rationalisaton in the merged Safcor Panalpina/Renfreight operation is close to 100% finalised, according to m.d. Philip Womersley. "In terms of head count the process is substantially complete - and numbers on the top side of 1 000," he told FTW. While releasing no further figures, Womersley is content that the staff consolidation programme has been completed reasonably quickly. "We are very pleased with the commitment of all the staff," he added.
