SOUTH AFRICA is on
target to hit the magic
million vehicles a year mark
– provided there is support
from government, says
Naamsa president Johan
van Zyl. However, he says
that it will take a lot of
work because of the global
market’s competitiveness.
For the country to reach
this goal, it will have to
achieve 57.7% growth.
From 2000 to 2006, SA
was in its revitalisation stage.
The period between 2005
and 2006 was termed as the
growth phase.
