Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA) has just released its port stats for May.
These show:
Total bulk handled - 7 605 477 tonnes
Total bulk shipped (exports) - 7 176 652t
Total bulk landed (imports) - 428 825t
Total breakbulk handled - 322 654t
Total breakbulk landed (imports) - 3 517t
Total breakbulk shipped (exports) - 318 046t
Total TEUs landed - 190 406
Total TEUs shipped - 184 476
Total full TEUs landed deepsea (imports) - 118 907
Total full TEUs shipped deepsea (exports) - 91 529
