Despite what some economists forecast, SA’s economy will not slip into recession, finance minister Pravin Gordhan told a media briefing yesterday (Thursday).
“We are growing as an economy, we are not going into a recession. But we are not growing fast enough,” Gordhan said.
He was due to be meeting with the SA Reserve Bank (SARB) to discuss how to deal with the challenges of growth.
