SA likely to remain a part of Agoa – Davies

South Africa looks likely to retain its duty-free access for exports to the US valued at about $1.7 billion a year, said trade and industry minister, Dr Rob Davies, in an interview with Bloomberg news agency.

Citing a letter he had received recently from a US trade representative, Davies reiterated that he was confident that South Africa would remain a part of the Africa Growth and Opportunity Act (Agoa).
