SA delegation takes World Cup expertise to Qatar

South Africa wants to openly share with Qatar the experience, expertise and knowledge that the country acquired from hosting the 2010 Soccer World Cup so that Qatar 2022 can also be a memorable World Cup, Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Elizabeth Thabethe, told businesspeople at a business seminar hosted by the Department of Trade and Industry (the dti) in Doha, Qatar at the weekend. The seminar was part of the World Cup Legacy Exhibition that Deputy Minister Thabethe officially opened yesterday. Thabethe is leading a group of 32 companies that are exhibiting their products and services in Qatar with the aim of being able to establish partnerships with the Qatari companies for the utilisation of their expertise, goods and services as Qatar prepares to host the 2022 World Cup.
