In a further strengthening of
relations between Kenya and
South Africa, agreement has
been reached to waive double
taxation for businesses operating
in both countries. A Memorandum
of Understanding has also
been signed on agricultural
cooperation.
Deputy President Kgalema
was in Kenya recently ahead of a
planned visit by President Jacob
Zuma next year.
Both Kenya and South Africa
agreed to enhance bilateral
cooperation in trade and
investment, tourism, higher
education, diplomacy and the
management of correctional
facilities.
