TRUCKS ARE one of the targets of the recently-launched KwaZulu-Natal transport department’s road safety campaign. ‘Operation Juggernaut’ will attempt to remove unroadworthy trucks from the roads to avoid accidents like the one in January in which nine people lost their lives when a truck’s brakes failed.
