The Johannesburg Roads Agency (JRA) has announced that Main Reef Road, at Press Street and the M2 onramp intersection, will be closed on Saturday, February 10, from 08h00 to 16h00.
This is due to the rehabilitation of that section of the road as part of the City of Johannesburg’s R30-million upgrade project to decrease congestion and improve access of the M2-Main Reef interchange.
JRA spokesperson Bertha Peters-Scheepers advised motorists to consider alternative routes or follow detour signs, travel at reduced speeds within the construction area, and adhere to traffic guidelines and signage at the site.
