Reopening of Matola refinery mooted

IN AN attempt to reduce fuel costs, the Mozambican government is considering re-opening the Matola oil refinery. According to Investors Intelligence, the energy minister Salvador Namburete has pointed out that - with the refinery back in business - the country would save enormous amounts of money usually spent on imports of finished products.
