According to a report carried by Independent News Online, reduced tariffs at the Port of Maputo in Mozambique could make Grindrod’s car terminal there more competitive with equivalent terminals in Durban and Port Elizabeth owned by Transnet.
It should, said Grindrod CE Alan Olivier, “allow more cost effective throughput (in) Maputo”.
