I REFER to the article in your issue dated June 9, 2006 headlined “Van Zyl buys Aviocean”. This is not entirely true and I would appreciate it if you could print a correction in your next issue. For the record, there are three individually registered AVIOCEAN companies in South Africa. Details as follows:- Aviocean (Transvaal) CC – recently bought by Lance Van Zyl, with change of name to Aviocean (Pty) Limited. Aviocean (Natal) CC – owned by Desmond Sutherland. Aviocean (Cape Town) CC – owned by Desmond Sutherland. Not all AVIOCEAN companies have a new owner. Lance Van Zyl bought the Johannesburg company, and does not have offices in Durban and Cape Town.
