ALWYN RAUTENBACH, managing director of Airlink Cargo, has been appointed chairman of the Air Cargo Operators’ Committee (Acoc). Lobbying and negotiation are a key element of the organisation’s mandate, says Rautenbach. In a move that increases its collective bargaining muscle, Acoc has signed a memorandum of understanding with the SA Association of Freight Forwarders with a view to approaching issues of common concern as a collective force.
