Rail chief's death a blow

THE SUDDEN death of CFM rail director Mario Dimandi has been a great loss to the shipping and transport industry, with industry executives paying tribute to his ability and energy.

Dimandi collapsed while on a flight to South Africa.

Shipping agents in Harare describe him as a tremendously dedicated and tireless worker and say he was one of the main forces behind the progress in rail communications in the region.
