Government has set aside an amount of R450 million to create agri-parks in KwaZulu Natal (KZN) to boost rural industrialisation.
Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform, Gugile Nkwinti, said in a statement that 10 sites had been identified and were in different stages of development.
The aim is for the park to provide a network of contacts between producers, markets and processors, as well as infrastructure to process agricultural products.
