JOY ORLEK QANTAS FREIGHT has launched a weekly 747-400 freighter service connecting Johannesburg to Australia and Asia. The aircraft departs Sydney every Monday for Johannesburg via Perth and returns the same day with onward connections to Singapore and Shanghai. “It’s the only direct dedicated freighter service operating between South Africa, Australia and the Far East,” said executive general manager associated businesses, Denis Adams.
