DEMAND FOR power plants and oil and gas equipment will fuel growth in the project cargo sector over the next 12 months, according to Kevin Stephens, GM of over-dimensional cargo specialists, the Worldwide Project Consortium. The group, which held its seventh annual conference in Cape Town recently, reported growing demand from major mining and infrastructure projects and the reconstruction of Afghanistan and Iraq. More than 100 delegates from around the globe attended the event.
