Proactive moves to keep corridors safe

SAFETY ON Namibia’s corridors – regarded among the best on the sub-continent at present – is being enhanced through a four-year project supported by donor funding. According to Walvis Bay Corridor Group business development executive Johny Smith, the project is aimed at ensuring that drivers, vehicles and cargo stay safe on the various corridor routes. “We are being proactive to ensure that we maintain our competitive edge,” he says. For shippers safety is clearly a 'top of mind' priority.
