In a move to improve relations between Russia and South Africa, President Cyril Ramaphosa will lead a delegation of top South African business professionals to Russia for the first-ever Russia-Africa Summit in Sochi later this week.
“The summit is expected to deepen friendly relations between the Russian Federation and countries of the African continent at both bilateral and multilateral levels and forge closer collaboration on regional and international issues of common interest,” according to a statement from the president.
