AS INSTITUTE of Chartered
Shipbrokers (ICS) students
gear up for their final
exams in April, the
traditional ‘prep weekend’
organised by the SA
branch will be held at the
end of February.
“As has been the
tradition for the past ten
years, the weekend will
take place in Glengarry,
in the Drakensberg,” says
ICS’s Fiona de Goede.
“This is an excellent
opportunity for students
preparing to write the
ICS exams to have an
intensive study weekend
in which to brush up on
problem areas in their
study material.”
ICS tutors will be on
hand to assist.
According to De Goede,
results over the years
have shown that students
attending the prep achieve
a higher than average
success rate.
