Points demerit system pilot project launched

NEXT MONTH will see
the launch by the Road
Transport Management
Corporation of the points
demerit system pilot
project in Tshwane and
Johannesburg.
Transport Minister Jeff
Radebe told the National
Assembly in Cape Town last
week that the project would
help the department to test
its systems and gear up for
national roll-out in 2009.
