Africa is increasingly being seen as a continent of more opportunity and less risk, according to Matthew Miller of Frontier Advisory who returned to South Africa recently from the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. ”But there was agreement among attendees at the event that unemployment and inequality remained massive problems. Africa’s lack of infrastructure remained a key concern, said Miller, and it was emphasised that infrastructure reform should remain at the top of the agenda if the continent is intent on benefiting from the interest it is receiving globally.
