The Johannesburg Roads Agency (JRA) will be conducting partial lane closures on Main Reef Road on October 7 from 09h30 until 15h00.
This is in order to carry out visual inspections as part of its M2/Main Reef and linked extensions upgrade project and will affect routes from Production Road to Church Street onto the M2 motorway towards the city centre.
JRA spokesperson Bertha Peters-Scheepers noted that only one lane would be affected at a time and that temporary road signage had been installed along the construction route.
Motorists have been advised to consider alternative routes and travel at reduced speeds along the construction route.
