Order management system provides transparency in real time

It operates in real time and as soon as the client places an order on the Cargocare website, besides us the supplier and our overseas agent are immediately notified,” says Raath. “The order is transparent with all parties updating it as it develops. This saves time and introduces accountability, preventing suppliers from ‘hiding’ their manufacturing delays and blaming the forwarder or other parties.” As a member of the Certified Transport Network group, Cargocare can also offer its customers rate discounts based on volume shipments. “CTN is a worldwide group of quality agents whose combined volumes secure carrier rates that can compete with the internationals,” says Raath. “Soon to be implemented is the CTN partners common IT working platform which is expected to speed up communications with partners even further.”
