IN A separate marketing agreement, Rainbow Software International and the Atio Corporation, both software companies, have joined forces to create an Export Success Kit.
The programme makes use of Atio's ITS and ExportIT export solution programmes, in addition to export information and trade resources found on the Trade Compass Worldwide Website.
According to Atio's Ronnie van Rooyen, the merger of the two export software tools ensures that the exporter now has a much wider choice of tools that automatically integrates with the Trade Compass Internet-based resources.
The benefit is that the customer is now allowed entry to new global markets, as well as finding and retaining new customers through the alliance formed with Trade Compass, which is the Internet gateway to international commerce, he said.
Van Rooyen maintains that not only will this tool provide the exporter with access to mission-critical market intelligence information, it will also enable him to utilise logistic tools needed when engaging in international business.
The Export Success Kit covers the entire export process. Beginning with a feasibility study that analyses whether the exporter is ready to export, it assists with global market research, and enables both the buyer and seller to communicate and conclude sales directly through the
medium of electronic commerce.
Once the contract is in place, the Kit will guide exporters through the tricky processes of how to structure the purchase order, what Incoterms to use, as well as advising on how to use them. It then completes the export documents in accordance with these Incoterm requirements.
The Export Success Kit is affordable to the first time exporter as well as meeting the requirements of a large corporate wishing to integrate financial packages and other third party modules, says Van Rooyen.
