New export agency planned

PARLIAMENT LAST week tabled a bill proposing the
creation of a registered insurance company - The Export Credit Agency - which will provide export credit and foreign investment insurance cover on behalf of government.
This will end the involvement of Credit Guarantee Insurance Corporation which has acted in this capacity for the past 40 years.
