THERE IS a new face among the trade crime-busters in Durban.
Mark Momberg - 13 years in the SAPS and captain in the Kwa Zulu Natal CID - is now heading up the KZN trade fraud division of OF&A.
His positioning at SA's busiest seaport enhances the company's national fight against transnational trade abuse, said c.e. Ockie Fourie.
Momberg's portfolio is supervising investigations for clients - those adversely affected by illegal imports and/or exports; wrongful declarations to the revenue collecting authorities; intellectual property rights infringements; and fraud in general.
OF&A has the claim of being SA pioneers of forensic investigations - a backtracking investigation through auditing the documentary trail.
