Manica Group Namibia has
just signed an agreement
to implement CargoWise’s
ediEnterprise technology
solution for logistics
services providers.
Since entering into
a partnership in March
2010, CargoWise and
Compu-Clearing have
accomplished a series of
successful agreements with
customers in South Africa
to implement ediEnterprise,
said Compu-Clearing
chairman Arnold Garber.
“This signing extends
the success of CargoWise’s
partnership with Compu-
Clearing into the broader
southern Africa market,”
he said.
With a considerable
market share, MGN is
one of the largest logistics
services providers
in Namibia. Patrick
Kohlstaedt, MGN general
manager – logistics
services said: “The
ediEnterprise product
offers a fully integrated
solution which gives us
capabilities equivalent
to the largest global
forwarders on a flexible
commercial model that
allows for expansion. Once
you have this system, you
really don’t need anything
else.”
“The modular and
scalable nature of the
ediEnterprise solution
allows for easier
implementation and cost
management,” said Garber,
“but the benefits go even
further for users pursuing
an aggressive growth
strategy. The combination
of our local market
expertise with the global
reach of CargoWise makes
it all the more possible for
customers with ambitions
in the wider southern
African region and beyond
to take full advantage of
the capabilities the system
offers.”
Volodya Bilanovsky,
CargoWise’s vice president
of partner programmes,
commented: “The depth
of our product capabilities
bundled with our global
hosting infrastructure
enables our partners to
expand their businesses and
offer a truly global solution
to their markets.”
