Namibian logistics provider Transworld Cargo has streamlined its operations and increased productivity through the introduction of a new software solution. The company has just successfully completed the first stage of implementation of the Cargowise ediEnterprise software platform through Compu-Clearing Outsourcing, the South Africa partner of Sydney-based technology solutions provider CargoWise. The project will replace a series of separate operational and financial software systems with CargoWise’s ediEnterprise single platform ‘only enter data once’ technology, Transworld Cargo managing director Heino Herrlich explained. “As a result, Transworld Cargo will eliminate the need to manually re-key data in between software systems.” “The successful roll-out has improved productivity and given Transworld the opportunity to improve its integration with global partners,” said Compu- Clearing marketing & training manager Moshe Zulberg. “The modular and scalable nature of ediEnterprise allows for businesses of all sizes to benefit,” Said Zulberg. “As a result, our customers throughout Southern Africa have been able to significantly improve operational efficiencies, reduce costs and enhance the level of integration with their international partners.”
