CLIVE EMDON THE NAMIBIAN Manufacturers’ Association (NMA) has spoken out against dumping of goods in their market by other Sacu states and unfair trade practices in the Southern African Customs Union (Sacu). NMA chairman Koos Ferreira said that competition issues between member states had not been addressed appropriately within Sacu. Namibia, Botswana, Swaziland and Lesotho were currently preparing an annex to the Sacu agreement to address these matters, according to a report in The Namibian.
