THE FIRST week of September will see the launch by Mediterranean Shipping Company of a weekly service from Mediterranean ports and the North West Continent and United Kingdom to the ports of Veracruz and Altamira in Mexico.
Containers will transhipped in Freeport Bahamas for Veracruz and Altamira.
Two MSC vessels will shuttle between Mexico and Freeport, guaranteeing a weekly service.
Containers will be relayed on the same day since feeders will reach Freeport before the arrival of the mother vessels.
South African shippers will be able to tranship on MSC's SA - North West Continent service.
