The N4 and N11 in Mpumalanga remain highways of concern with the latter remaining closed and the former open once more after it was closed following a truck burning incident at the Hendrina on- and off-ramp last night.
That was according to Lowveld Traffic as reported by the Transit Assistance Bureau (Transist).
This morning Transist updated the situation report saying Rob Beezy of Traffic SA had said that the N4 Maputo Corridor had reopened after it had been closed off for traffic from Middelburg.
The N11 north past Loskop Dam unfortunately remained closed.
Transporters using these routes are advised to be vigilant.
Travel on the N4 remains subject to change without notice, Lowveld Traffic said.
