Moz road transport body fights annual vehicle inspections

The Mozambiquan Federation of Road Transport Operators (Fematro) remains opposed to compulsory annual vehicle inspections, according to Aim News. In an interview with STV, Fematro deputy chairman, Luis Munguambe, said that the overly stringent conditions for passing inspection would “destabilise” public transport in the country. The new deadline by which motorists must have their vehicles inspected is July 1.
