THE A.P. Moller Group including Safmarine have agreed to purchase Torm Lines from A/S Dampskibsselskabet Torm. Torm Lines operates container and breakbulk services from the US Gulf and East Coast of America to the West Coast of Africa. It currently operates four multipurpose vessels on a direct transatlantic service and a further four vessels on a feeder service along the coast in Africa.
