MEIHUIZEN INTERNATIONAL has launched a new, entirely separate division to cater for the on-shore needs of maritime personnel.
Meihuizen Marine Services fields two air conditioned and radio-linked mini-buses with a third shortly on its way, and offers a full range of services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
These include:
l Escorting maritime personnel between the airport, hotel or vessel and rendering assistance with customs/immigration procedures or with regard to excess luggage, clearance or loss;
l Collection of air tickets at airports or travel agents;
l Assistance between doctors, dentists or hospitals in both normal and emergency situations;
l Conducting day tours, to the Winelands, for example.
Manager Carrin Frey, formerly of Albatross Marine, says even larger groups can be accommodated should the need arise as Meihuizen Marine Services has an agreement with a coach operator. She is assisted by two former Albatross colleagues Sydney Poyana and Adrian Bailey.
Says Frey: “We are dedicated to providing a high standard of service and are flexible enough to meet the ever-changing needs of our clients.”
