The Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport will complete its R7-million project to re-tar and resurface the deteriorated section of Malibongwe Drive (R512) in Randburg by the end of the month.
Malibongwe Drive is a major arterial that runs through residential and industrial areas as well as open veld in north-western parts of Johannesburg. It connects Randburg to Northgate and beyond.
Currently the Department is undertaking a number of road rehabilitation and construction projects in the region that include Cedar Road (D1027) and William Nicol Drive (P79-1) in Fourways; R511 towards the Gauteng/North West border; and N14 between Diepsloot and Brakfontein.
