Kenya’s first low-cost airline, Jambojet.com, took off on Tuesday, April 1 at 06h45 from Nairobi to Kisumu, followed by a flight at 07h30 to Mombasa and 14h30 to Eldoret. Jambojet.com, a subsidiary of Kenya Airways, will initially fly on domestic routes to Mombasa, Eldoret and Kisumu before going regional to Bujumbura, Kigali, Dar es Salaam, Mwanza, Zanzibar, Kilimanjaro and Addis Ababa in “due course”.
