Logistics specialist pushes Gauteng growth

Logistics specialist and weight
verification company, Cargo
Handling Specialists (CHS),
has appointed a Johannesburg
representative, Jodi Haigh, to
drive growth in the Gauteng
province.
“Gauteng is definitely the centre
for growth of mining into Africa,
which spurs the need for logistics
services around this,” said
company MD Owen Bottomley.
He added that CHS currently
had a crane truck available as well
as a container/flat rack lashing
crew in Johannesburg. “Our aim
is to have our full service range
available to our Johannesburg
clients by the end of the year,” said
Bottomley.
