'Panalpina wants to
increase presence in SA'
I refer to your article about Safcor/Panalpina (FTW July 7, 2000)
Please allow me to respond to the rumour of the so-called takeover by Safcor of Panalpina South Africa.
There is no truth in any potential takeover of Panalpina SA by Safcor.
We are actually looking at increasing our presence in South Africa and at intensifying our partnership with Safcor.
This objective of a closer association might have wrongly started those rumours . I hope this clears it up
