TWO KZN-based clearing and forwarding, warehousing and distribution companies have just been taken over
by Laser International Logistics Solutions (LILS).
It has just acquired Project Freight (Natal) and Roland Freight, according to m.d. Chris Hart.
"The acquisition of the two operations gives us a solid foothold in the KwaZulu Natal region and extends the services of the group into the three main centres of Durban, Cape Town
and Johannesburg," said Hart.
Future plans include "aggressive growth" in international forwarding, customs clearing, warehousing and distribution, and projects. "We also intend to expand into specialised consulting and outsourcing in the overall logistics field," he said.
