JCCI export course begins in February

THE JOHANNESBURG Chamber of Commerce & Industry has released its 1999 schedule of import and export courses both of which are offered either over eight weeks or as 5-day intensive programmes.
The first 8-week Export Management certificate course of the year, presented by Alan Cowell, Pat Corbin, Tish Schutte, Linda Holtes and Michael Shrimpton, runs from February 1 to March 31, while the first 5-day course of 1999 runs from March 10-17.
The new JCCI Exporter's Manual will be issued to every student as part of the course material.
The Import Management certificate course, which has been run by the JCCI for 16 years, will be run twice this year in both formats.
The first eight week course runs from April 12 to June 2 and the first 5-day course from April 19-24.
The courses cost R1999 for members and R2499 for non-members and both are accredited by the Maritime Industry Training Board
Two trade workshops, a 3-day Export Administration and 2-day Currency Risk Management seminar will be held on April 7-9 and April 14-15 respectively.
