Emirates is to increase the cargo-carrying capacity on its daily return flights from Dubai to Zambia and Zimbabwe from February 1, introducing a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in place of the current Airbus A340-300, reports ENP Newswire.
The Boeing has a larger belly-hold capacity of 23 tonnes per flight. This, said Emirates, is intended to support the two countries’ exports such as vegetables and flowers, and imports ranging from pharmaceuticals to mining equipment.
