Groupage operator International Liner Agencies has consolidated its agency arrangement in Rotterdam and Antwerp with established partner Cleve & Zonen now representing the company in both centres. “Cleve & Zonen have their own operation in Antwerp and it therefore made logical sense to include that in our Benelux network rather than having it fragmented,” ILA marketing director Raymond Cutts told FTW. The decision to include Antwerp was a natural and logical consequence, said ILA MD Rod Taylor, following a productive partnership between the two companies over the past five years. “The strengthening of ties offers a number of benefits to our clients,” said Mike Draer, development manager of Cleve & Zonen. “As a well-established brand in the Benelux region we can now provide proactive management of volume and commitment to all SA ports – as well as gateway flexibility not limited to one port of load.”
