Section IX refers to “Wood and Articles of Wood; Wood Charlcoal; Cork and Articles of Cork; Manufacturers of Straw, of Esparto or of other Plaiting Materials; Basketware and Wickerwork”. Section IX consists of three tariff chapters. Tariff Chapter 44 – Wood and Articles of Wood; Wood Charcoal, Tariff Chapter 45 – Cork and Articles of Cork; and Chapter 46 – Manufacturers of Straw, of Esparto or of other Plaiting Materials; Basketware and Wickerwork. The first section deals with tariff subheadings to be deleted. Only tariff subheading 4401.30 is affected. The second section deals with tariff subheadings to be created (new). Only tariff subheadings 4401.31 and 4401.39 are affected. The third section deals with tariff subheadings whose scope will be modified. The Tariff Chapters are not affected.
