IN A bid to cut down on the high refund rejection rate, SA Revenue Service has published a list of the main errors it has identified. These include valuation, completion, proof of export and value added tax. “We advise refund applicants to ensure that refund applications are accurately completed as rejections resulting from errors have a direct impact on prescription periods governing refunds,” a Sars spokesman told FTW.
