Heartfelt gesture from Scania to stranded truck drivers

In another message of support received from the freight industry, the Namibian head office of Swedish truck manufacturer Scania has made a heartfelt gesture to truck drivers stuck outside South Africa.

In a post passed on by the Federation of East and Southern African Road Transport Associations, Scania Namibia says: “With the unrest in our neighbouring country, many drivers find themselves stranded far away from home.

“Team Scania Namibia would like to invite all affected trucking companies to make contact with us, and send your drivers for a warm meal and shower at our Windhoek dealership.”
