THE SA agents for the Far East service by newcomers, Fu Hai Line, will be Hanpore Shipping.
The company is headed by Cees Bosman as general manager, moving from his previous role as m.d. of Consortium Shipping, and, he told FTW, leaving that post in the safe hands of Jason Pillay.
Due for an early-August launch, the Fu Hai service will initially be operated by the three charter vessels: Commander, Columbine and Pathfinder. They will follow a port rotation of Pusan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Port Louis, Durban and return - sailing on an about every 10-days frequency.
