A report from the National Council of Shippers in Guinea-Bissau (CNC-GB) noted it is soon to open a tender for the construction of a dry port.
The report, according to Macauhub, also revealed that the council is finalising payment of the second instalment of the cost of 40 plots of land where the future dry port will be located. This will makes an area of 25 000 square metres available on the outskirts of Bissau for the dry port.
And, amongst other facilities, will also include warehouses to store perishable goods.
“The document,” Macauhub added, “does not specify the project’s construction cost.”
