Grass is Greener

Zimbabwe imports
around 80% of
its cannabis from
neighbouring countries,
according to Wikileaks.
It cites reports
that show that the
main suppliers are
Mozambique, Malawi and
Zambia.
However, it is likely
that the country is serving
more as a supplier than
user of the neighbouring
crops – one of the factors
that leads to border delays
due to customs searches.
Weed Wiki estimates
that around 50% of
the cannabis grown in
Zimbabwe or imported
is destined to be shipped
further on to Europe or
elsewhere.
